Description

TEAM Class

Pre-71 100cc

Any 1970 or earlier 100cc machine and LIKE DESIGN. This class does not split up ability levels.

Pre-85 100cc

Any 1984 or earlier 100cc machine. Period modifications only. This class does not split up ability levels.

Pre-75 125

Any 1974 or earlier 125 cc machine. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

Pre-75 250

Any 1974 or earlier 250 cc machine. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

Pre-75 Open

Any 1974 or earlier 251 - Open cc machine. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

Pre-75 Open Age

Any age rider on any 1974 or earlier machine of any size. This class does not split up ability levels.

40+ Evo

Riders 40 years and older on any Evolution machine - see description below of Evolution class. This class does not split up ability levels.

30+ Vintage 80's

Riders 30 years and older on any Vintage 80's machine - see description below of Vintage 80's class. This class does not split up ability levels.

Pre-78

Any machine 1975 – 1977 and like design. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

Evolution 200

100 - 200 cc air cooled, drum brake and non-linkage suspension. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

Evolution Open

201 - Open cc air cooled, drum brake and non-linkage suspension. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

GP Classes

Extra laps in these classes.  This class does not split up ability levels. To ride this class, riders must also be entered in one or more other ACR classes. Bike eligibility for each GP division is determined by displacement, not engine type (2-stroke, 4-stroke) i.e; no 250f machines in the 125 GP class, no 450f machines in the 250 GP class.  The GP classes are as follows:

Pre-75 125 GP

1974 and earlier 125 cc machines only.

Evo 125 GP

Evolution 125 cc machines only.

Vintage 80's 125 GP

Vintage 80's 125 cc machines only.

125 GP

1990 and newer 125 cc machines only.

250 GP

126-250 cc machines only.

Open GP

251-Open cc machines only.

Vintage 80's

Machines 1980 - 1989, period modifications allowed, like design rule does not apply.

Vintage 80's 200

100-200cc machines only. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

Vintage 80's Open

201-Open cc machines only. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

Vintage 90's

All bikes made from 1990 - 1998. All period modifications are allowed. As in the Vintage Eighties Class, like-design machines are not allowed, just 1990-99 machines. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

ACR Modern

125 - Open cc machines through current model year. To ride this class riders must also be entered in one or more vintage classes. This class has ability levels A, B, and C.

Women

Participants can ride any 85 cc and up machine. This class does not split ability levels.

Junior

Riders 12-15 years of age with an ACR parent/guardian and an air-cooled, drum brake, non-linkage 125cc machine. This class does not split ability levels.

Mini

0-99 cc two stroke, 0-150 cc four stroke, no full size wheels (18" & 21"). This class does not split ability levels.

Pre-75 Minibike

For all domestic & imported minibikes with a maximum wheel size of 16". Engine size limit will be 100cc for 2-strokes & OHV 4-strokes. No limits for flathead motors. Suspension travel will be limited to 4" front & 3" rear. This class does not split ability levels.

Greenhorn Class

For non-racers with no race experience and modest riding ability. A fun, non-stressful class for spouses & little ones riding small playbikes and pitbikes from 50 - 125cc with no full-size wheels. Race bikes are not allowed. Minimum age is 8. No maximum age limit. Here's the perfect way to get your spouse and kids involved out on the track in a safe & friendly non-competitive atmosphere.

Notes:

  1. The minimum age for all classes is 16 years except for the junior class (12-15) and mini (8 & up).
  2. All Pre ’75 machines must have no more than 7” of front wheel travel and 4” of rear wheel travel.

The Pre-75 Minibike class is meant to recreate the Golden Era of 1969-1971 when minibike racing was absolutely booming in certain parts of the country and Minibike Guide Magazine was outselling most of the motorcycle mags. Here are a few samples of some bikes that we would like to see in this class:

  • Steens, Mini-Enduro, Bonanza Typhoon.
  • Rupp Black Widow, Speedway Scarab, Trail 70.
  • Bonanza Minicross, Powell Challenger, Cat Slingshot.
